They pair perfectly with everything and add an artsy vibe to your wardrobe— dress them up with a silk tank & blazer, or down with a jean jacket and boots— either way, expect compliments ;)
About the print:
Dreamy and delightful, our Head in the Clouds design was created using one of our very favourite portraits — “The Painter’s Wife” by Jean-Etienne Liotard. We used all pieces of Liotard’s work to create this design, including the stars on the pillow for the front panel and the Turkish rug for the trim. We love these paired with the matching kimono or a denim jacket!
55% linen, 45% bamboo/wood viscose. Handwash (or machine wash gentle cycle) and hang to dry. Iron to finish if needed.
Artist Pants are one-size and will fit approximately size 4/6 (S) to size 12/14 (L). General meaurements: length 86cm. Waist (flat) 84cm around, and with elastic stretched 104cm around, hips 117cm. Model is 5’5” for reference.

Versatile, chic, and super cool — these pants will level up your basics and wake up your summer wardrobe! Pair them with a denim shirt, sandals, and a straw bag for your everyday adventures… or add a long white men’s shirt, ankle boots, and a scarf for a French-inspired look. We also love these pants worn with solid cropped sweaters and long tunics — think shades of blue, taupe, rust, and grey. And if you love mixed prints (which obviously we do!) try these with a pin-striped linen shirt. So unexpected, and so stylish :)

The daydreamer, the free spirit. Women who see possibility in the everyday things, who inspire others with their style and creative spark. Women with their heads in the clouds.

Jean-Etienne Liotard was an accomplished painter and art connoisseur in the 1700s, who is best known for his arresting pastel portraiture. He worked all over Europe (even painting Marie Antoinette in 1762) and lived for a time in Istanbul, where he became inspired by Turkish art, design and fashion. The extraordinary portrait of his wife, Marie Fargues, which is featured on our Head in the Clouds pieces, was one of Liotard’s largest works, and was created just shortly after his wedding to Marie in Amsterdam in 1756. Today, Liotard’s remarkable work can be seen in museums and galleries around the world, including the British Museum, and the Louvre.

I slip the harness of work, the heavy shoes of their words. My worth is my worth. Sometimes this is how I say grace: stand in the sun and shake like a deer that’s outrun her shadow. And sometimes I release the dove that’s hidden in my throat, and follow her as far as I can.
