I Dream in Flowers Artist Pant
Our effortlessly cool new Artist Pants are made from a custom-woven, breathable blend of linen and bamboo/wood viscose, and feature a drawstring front, elastic waist panel, pockets, cropped length, and a flattering lantern hem design. They pair perfectly with everything and add an artsy vibe to your wardrobe— dress them up with a silk tank & blazer, or down with a cropped sweater and boots— either way, expect compliments ;)
About the print:
A riotous, painterly celebration of art and the natural world, these Artist Pants are at once romantic, ethereal, and so so cool. Inspired by the romance of European flower markets, we created the print using a masterful oil painting from the early 1600’s by artist Jan Brueghel, and trimmed the pockets in an ink drawing of bumblebees we found in a Victorian insect encyclopedia.
55% linen, 45% bamboo/wood viscose. Handwash (or machine wash gentle cycle) and hang to dry. Iron to finish if needed.
Artist Pants are one-size and will fit approximately size 4/6 (S) to size 12/14 (L). General meaurements: length 86cm. Waist (flat) 84cm around, and with elastic stretched 104cm around, hips 117cm. Model is 5'5 for reference.

Over a year in development — we think these chic & comfy pants have been worth the wait! The versatile colour palette of this beautifully rich print pairs perfectly with so many different tones — we love mixing it with reds, golds, & mossy greens — but basic black is an easy option too. And don’t be afraid to layer in some more pattern for an eclectic mix — try a tonal plaid underneath a jean jacket, or add the matching I Dream in Flowers scarf to a solid top. Our favourite look? A crisp button down shirt with sneakers or boots, and some artsy accessories layered in.

The artisan, the wandering spirit. Women who roam through museums and gardens and untamed places, finding beauty wherever they look. Women who are works of art.

Jan Bruegel was a highly influential Flemish artist, perhaps best known for his lavish, colourful, and highly detailed floral paintings. Many of his still-life floral arrangements are combinations of common flowers and very rare ones, and often are composed of flowers that bloom during different seasons. He regularly travelled outside of his home in Antwerp so he could find and sketch unusual flowers for his painted bouquets. The effusive colours and delightful details in his work are rich, celebratory and (we think) pure magic when printed on to our soft fabric.

In the dark, she dreams flowers. Larkspur and lilac, white hawthorn blooming moonlight on the bed. In the cotton and hay her breath shivers with perfume and pollen, a feast for bees. Their soft velvet hum like a blanket. She dreams flowers, white lilies line the path to her heart like lanterns. Her chest is tangled and tender, the prickles of regret the sweet hope of alyssum. Her arms are strong as branches, fists a flourish of blossoms she will not let go.
