Land of Plenty Reversible Frock Dress
Pastoral landscapes, a delightfully pretty palette, and touches of vintage charm — welcome to the Land of Plenty! Our newest reversible Frock dress is an airy mix of aqua, sage, grey and cream with an eclectic, cottagecore feel. We combined three beautiful pieces of art: a tree-filled farm landscape from Drenthe Province in the Netherlands by painter Egbert van Drielst, a classical garden with fountains by watercolorist Isaac de Moucheron — both from the 1700’s — and a cross-stitch sampler of a lamb, bird, and flowers from the same era by an anonymous artist. Finally, we added the word “Peace” to the bodice and sleeves. The result is a dreamy, whimsical and joyful — and we definitely encourage skipping while wearing it ;)
Artsy and romantic, our frock dresses were designed to be danced in! They are fully reversible, and feature a scoop neckline on one side, and a v-neck with ties on the other. The adjustable waist ties can be done up in either the front or the back depending on your desired look — or buttoned off altogether for a more oversized flowy vibe.
Please note: The nature of our soft bamboo/wood viscose means it’s slightly sheer, so we recommend layering it with our Étoile slip (or any other slip you have) when wearing it with bare legs. Our model in the photos is wearing the dress without a slip.
100% bamboo/wood viscose. Machine wash gentle or handwash and hang to dry. Iron to finish if needed.

We adore the soft colours and vintage feel of this romantic, pretty piece. Painterly and sunwashed, it feels beautiful worn on bare legs on a hot day! We love it paired with a faded denim jacket or crochet knit sweater and cowboy boots for a casual vibe— but you can easily dress it up for a night out or a special event with a pair of ballet flats or heels. It’s particularly elegant and pretty worn with the scoop neck in front, and the waist ties cinched up in the back.

Idyllic, pastoral, and prosaic — Dutch landscape painting from the 17th and 18th centuries is arrestingly beautiful. Evoking fanciful windswept countrysides and light-filled seascapes, paintings from this era allow the viewer to feel as though they are immersed in the scene. While the realism of the landscapes suggests they were painted from life, most were actually created from the vivid imagination of the artist.
