Milk & Honey Artist Pant
Our effortlessly cool new Artist Pants are made from a custom-woven, breathable blend of linen and bamboo/wood viscose, and feature a drawstring front, elastic waist panel, pockets, cropped length, and a flattering lantern hem design. They pair perfectly with everything and add an artsy vibe to your wardrobe— dress them up with a silk tank & blazer, or down with a jean jacket and boots— either way, expect compliments ;)
About the print:
When we unearthed a whimsical & cheeky 1904 poster from Brooklyn, NY, advertising a musical number called “I Wonder Will You Always Call Me Honey”, we were so charmed! Using the nostalgic graphics, along with woodcut stars and flowers drawn the same year by artist Theo Hoytema, we created our playful Milk & Honey print. These pants are perfect for adventures on breezy summer days, or lounging at home. With their sunwashed, antique parchment background, and faded black and honey details, they feels instantly vintage and utterly wearable :)
55% linen, 45% bamboo/wood viscose. Handwash (or machine wash gentle cycle) and hang to dry. Iron to finish if needed.
Artist Pants are one-size and will fit approximately size 4/6 (S) to size 12/14 (L). General meaurements: length 86cm. Waist (flat) 84cm around, and with elastic stretched 104cm around, hips 117cm. Model is 5’9” for reference.

These playful, sunny Artist Pants were made for everyday adventures — whether you’re hanging out with friends, working in the garden, or off to the farmer’s market! We’ll be pairing them with black & white gingham and sneakers for casual days, and dressing them up with a black linen tunic and wrapped sandals for an evening out. We also love the look of layering them with a striped tee or cropped sweater… perfect for a picnic ;)

The bohemian, the sunflower. Women who are sweet as can bee — that is, if the mood suits them ;)

Just like today, newspapers and magazine journals from the late 1800s and early 1900s frequently contained pull out supplements to entice readers to purchase them. These bonus inserts were often posters, instructions for crafts, recipes, or — in the case of the artwork we used for our Milk & Honey print — musical supplements with words and music that could be played and sung at home. While the poster we found was intact, the music and lyrics were missing, leaving us to wonder about the song ;)

She is a sweet and golden song — the thrumming hive of her heart makes honey from nothing.
