Milk & Honey Luxe Tee
When we unearthed a whimsical 1904 poster from Brooklyn, NY, advertising a musical number called “I Wonder Will You Always Call Me Honey”, we were so charmed! Using the nostalgic graphics, along with woodcut stars and flowers drawn by artist Theo Hoytema, we created our playful Milk & Honey print. With its antique parchment background, and faded black and honey details on the front, and Hoytema’s field of flowers on the back, it feels instantly vintage and utterly wearable. We’ll be pairing this one with jeans and linen trousers all season long :)
About our Luxe Tees:
This is how we do basic! We’ve taken a wardrobe staple — the humble t-shirt — and elevated it to a chic, easy piece that’s destined to become a style you’ll reach for over and over, all year long. Crafted from the same soft bamboo fabric as our stardusters, our Luxe Tees feature a flattering, wide scoop neck, relaxed seamless sleeve, side slits, and hem detailing with a hidden contrast print. Available in two sizes custom-designed to fit different body types, our S/M is cut slightly shorter to flatter sizes 2-10, and our L/XL has extra length for sizes 10-14.
100% bamboo/wood viscose. Machine wash gentle or handwash and hang to dry. Iron to finish if needed.

We love the retro vibe of this tee! Add a pair of jeans, sneakers, and a scarf for a cute casual look — or tuck it in to a black trouser and add a belt for a more unexpected approach to workwear. We’ll also be layering this one over shorter slip dresses with leggings for a 90’s throwback feel :)

Just like today, newspapers and magazine journals from the late 1800s and early 1900s frequently contained pull out supplements to entice readers to purchase them. These bonus inserts were often posters, instructions for crafts, recipes, or — in the case of the artwork we used for our Milk & Honey print — musical supplements with words and music that could be played and sung at home. While the poster we found was intact, the music and lyrics were missing, leaving us to wonder about the song ;)
