Exotic, painterly, and chic — this piece is for the travellers and dreamers who love to collect stories wherever they roam! We brought together an eclectic and beautiful mix of prints that evoke the rich texture of a tapestry. The watercolour painting with its elegant vase and dried sunflowers was done by Dutch artist Maria Vos in 1879. We were enchanted by the lush, sun-washed colours in her work— and intrigued by the wall panel of the mother figure and the key in the painting’s background. We mixed Vos’s work with several other art pieces, including a late 1700’s paper block-print, a Turkish carpet, and the design from a French antique Chinoiserie plate. PS — this design was inspired by the timeless style of Danielle’s forever muse…her mom, Diana, who models with her in these pics :)
100% viscose (derived from plant fibres such as wood and bamboo). Machine wash gentle or handwash and hang to dry. Iron to finish if needed.
Kimono measurements: length 78cm, width (across back, underarm to underarm) 74cm. Model is 5’4” for reference.

Exotic, painterly and chic, this piece is guaranteed to elevate your everyday basics. Pair it with denim (light or dark), a crisp white shirt, and copper-toned loafers for a casual yet sophisticated look. Or layer it over a silky slip dress cinched at the waist with a braided belt, and then add suede ankle boots and the matching scarf for an eclectic bohemian vibe. We especially love this piece layered with linen trousers, a knit cami, woven leather sandals & statement stone jewelry — perfect for a stroll through artisan markets :)

The storyteller, the gatherer. Women follow beauty across oceans, who weave the rich tapestry of their lives with places and people they love. Women who let their style tell a story.

Growing up, I learned the art of mixing prints and textures from my mother, whose eclectic personal style has always been as vibrant and layered as the life she lives. Her wardrobe was a treasure trove of pieces collected from her adventures as a buyer and shopkeeper—delicate Indian block prints, bold blue-and-white Chinoiserie patterns, classic linen neutrals and vintage silk paisleys from England. Watching her pair a flowing silk trench with a classic brocade skirt, or layer a jacquard scarf over a velvet dress, taught me that fashion is storytelling. She showed me how prints from different eras and cultures could harmonize when tied together by a shared colour palette, a love for craftsmanship, and a confident spirit. Her fearless creativity inspired me to see style as a tapestry of memories and places, woven together to create something entirely personal — and entirely wonderful. Thanks mom ;)
