In Stardust We Trust Reversible Frock (Terracotta)
The design that started it all — created to remind ourselves to trust in our dreams again. To trust in possibility. In wonder. In stardust.
The artwork on this stunning dress was custom painted by talented local artist Kat Cearns, and based on doves from original antique Victorian prints. Images of doves are symbols of faith, hope and peace — and they were believed by the Victorians to bring luck when worn on jewelry or embroidered on clothing. Each of our doves carry a flowing banner reading “In Stardust We Trust” — the motto behind Market of Stars. We let our dreams take wing with this one :)
Artsy and romantic, our frock dresses were designed to be danced in! They are fully reversible, and feature a scoop neckline on one side, and a v-neck with ties on the other. The adjustable waist ties can be done up in either the front or the back depending on your desired look — or buttoned off altogether for a more oversized flowy vibe.
Please note: The nature of our soft bamboo/wood viscose means it’s slightly sheer, so we recommend layering it with our Étoile slip (or any other slip you have) when wearing it with bare legs. Our model in the photos is wearing the dress without a slip.
100% bamboo/wood viscose. Machine wash gentle or handwash and hang to dry. Iron to finish if needed.
Unlined. One Size, fits XS-XL. Measures 62cm across the bust, 59cm across the waist, 106 cm long. Our model auburn-blonde model Meredith is 5’8”, and our brunette model Chantel is 5’5” for reference.

This delightful piece is the most beautiful shade of deep terracotta — rust with a hint of coral — that flatters almost all skin tones! Layer it with taupe, grey, sand, or black and wake up the neutrals in your wardrobe. We love it on it’s own in the summer sun with a pair of sandals and a straw bag, but it transitions perfectly in to fall with tights, a cozy cardi, and boots. Or create a playful, sophisticated ootd with a black linen blazer and ballet flats! And if you’re headed away for a little vay-cay, it makes a beautiful beach cover-up too ;)

The poet, the luminary. Women who take a leap of faith and trust in their own vision, who follow their own flights of fancy. Women who look up.

There were clear directions to Neverland: second star to the left and straight on till morning. But years ago she stopped looking up. Fixed her eyes on the future like two headlights down a dark road. She ran over things: sticks and stones, her own pen, her own heart. She drove until her eyes went dim.
And then somewhere in the dark she remembered: there are also stars to see by. Stars that open out across the sky like a roadmap, millions of paths luminous and wild, pixie dust scattered in all directions. And brightest of all: there are stars in her eyes too. Just look up. Just look up.
