Map of My Heart Luxe Tee
This quirky, beautiful piece took us on quite the design journey!
Created using an original 1846 print from New York entitled “A Map of the Open Country of a Woman’s Heart”, it depicted exactly that — a fanciful imagining of a woman’s heart, drawn as a map.
We completely adored the concept — but definitely didn’t adore some of the language! So we got to work, swapping out many of the place names like “Land of Fickleness” and “Land of Vanity” (no thank you), to what we feel in our own hearts — like “Land of Strength” and “Region of Reckless Joy”. Some of the original wording we decided to keep — including “District of Love” and “Land of Love of Dress”— because hey, fashion will always be in our hearts ;)
About our Luxe Tees:
This is how we do basic! We’ve taken a wardrobe staple — the humble t-shirt — and elevated it to a chic, easy piece that’s destined to become a style you’ll reach for over and over, all year long. Crafted from the same soft bamboo fabric as our stardusters, our Luxe Tees feature a flattering, wide scoop neck, relaxed seamless sleeve, side slits, and hem detailing with a hidden contrast print. Available in two sizes custom-designed to fit different body types, our S/M is cut slightly shorter to flatter sizes 2-10, and our L/XL has extra length for sizes 10-14.
100% bamboo/wood viscose. Machine wash gentle or handwash and hang to dry. Iron to finish if needed.
Measurements: S/M — length 64cm (shoulder to hem), width 57cm (underarm to underarm), L/XL — length 75cm, 63cm width (underarm to underarm) Model wears an S/M and is 5’3” for reference.

One of our most versatile peices, the Luxe Tee can be worn as an everyday basic or elevated to something chic and sophisticated! The side slits make it easy to french-tuck or side-tuck in to your favourite jeans, but we also love it worn untucked with a pair of cropped leggings and sneakers. Dress it up with a peasant skirt and boots for a boho vibe, or layer it over a babydoll slip for a cute, 90’s-inspired take. Our favourite look for this one? Side tucked with faded jeans and finished with a vintage leather belt & lace scarf. Edgy and sweet, romantic and unexpected ;)

Our finished map was so special, we knew we couldn’t just pair it with a boring background! Instead, we combed through hundreds (and hundreds!) of vintage botanical illustrations and finally found a marvellous herb and flower catalogue from the 1800’s. We pieced together a more than a dozen drawings from this catalogue to create the subtle-yet-sublime pattern that forms the main body of our design. The beautiful trim on the inside hem comes from the same handpainted American wallpaper found on our Heart’s Delight artist jacket — which we thought was a perfect fit :)
